Hello, I am Gabriella and I am a freelance Illustrator. I was born in Pisa, Italy and I moved to the USA in 2008. I am currently a student at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and I am scheduled to graduate with a BFA in Illustration in 2019. I have been on the President’s List consistently throughout my studies, have won the Memorial Cosgrove Scholarship for the Spring of 2018 and was selected to exhibit at the PJS Gallery’s 55th Student Exhibition with my work “Animal Guernica”.
I love working with a mix of traditional and digital painting and my focus is on illustrating literature, both for children and not. I have a Bachelor in English Literature that I believe gives me an advantage in understanding narrative and illustrating it effectively, as well as possibly becoming an author/illustrator for children’s books.
Drawing is what takes most of my time besides my family and my two boys, but I never miss a Shakespeare play or a Radiohead concert.
